Brisbane Wedding Photographer travels to Wellington
Photographing a wedding in Wellington is an exciting idea for anyone with a slight heartbeat for wedding photography! Wellington is an incredible city in New Zealand. One that any Aussie could travel to and feel instantly welcome. And for that reason, Wellington makes the perfect backdrop for any Australian Bride considering New Zealand for a city wedding!
With cafes, bars, and incredible restaurants any couple would be absolutely spoilt for choice if you were searching for a venue with character and style. Wellington wedding photography is just as exciting as the choice of locations available for couples to use as image backdrops are endless. Wellington wedding photography in my mind conjures up ideas including utilising its eclectic scene of buildings, unusual houses, stunning views, and my favorite great alleyways! By using bright alleyways and graffiti in your wedding images, they will be full of color and loads of personality!
Traveling to this vibrant city was exciting not only to immerse myself in the surrounds but also because I was able to photograph something wedding related with fellow creatives!
This trip created an opportunity to connect with warm and friendly professionals from the Wellington wedding industry and it was such a great chance to learn more about how the Brides and Grooms in the area view their surrounds when it comes to wedding photography.
So armed with the best help on hand from local hair stylist Amber Hill and makeup artist Hannah Wiles we were ready to dress our model Lia Forrest in a gorgeous gown from When Freddie Met Lilly and start exploring this city landscape for the perfect setting for bridal inspired imagery. Amber and Hanna live in the area and suggested an incredible alley no to far from the heart of the city!
