From Tassie with love. From the moment these two locked eyes across a Tasmanian pub they were hooked. Brigid and Sam’s backyard micro wedding was filled with affection and joy surrounded by friends, family and their fur baby Milly.
Backyard Micro Wedding
On their special day, I met Sam at the home of Brigid’s parents in Caloundra where family and friends gathered ahead of the ceremony. Like many weddings this year the couple’s plans had been pushed forward due to a snap covid-19 lockdown. Although this was not the couple’s original wedding plan, these two didn’t want to wait to be husband and wife. So with two hours to spare, before the lockdown commenced, everyone gathered to celebrate this loved up couple.
Marriage celebrant Ellan was on standby when a local snap lockdown was announced and zipped up the highway to hitch these two cuties. Brigid’s parents’ courtyard was the ideal location for a last minute micro wedding. The ceremony was heartfelt and personal, filled with laughter, a couple of tears and so much warmth!
After the ceremony, it was time for a few photos with their guests and the wedding party. Then I drove the newlyweds around the corner to one of the gorgeous Caloundra beaches for their portrait photos. Brigid and Sam chose to have their wedding portrait session on the same beach they had their first dates on. Backlit by the sunset, Brigid and Sam shared some super feels reliving their whirlwind love story. Just like their first kiss, this moment was perfectly theirs.
Your portrait photos are more special when you choose a location special to you. Together let’s create photos that recapture your favourite memories. Like this one for Brigid and Sam.
Congratulations Brigid and Sam for creating the perfect last minute wedding xoxo.
