Beautiful Wet Wedding at The Landing at Dockside
This romance began for Zach and Charlotte in their first few weeks of university where they were both studying to be physiotherapists. The two were more than a perfect match, Charlotte with her caring personality and gentle nature and Zach with his sense of humour and charm. And it was not long after that there was a proposal for this cute Brisbane couple.
So with the date set and plans in place, they were scheduled for a beautiful wedding at The Landing Dockside on the lawn with the company of family and close friends. Leading up to the wedding date there was a slight chance of rain, so Zach, Charlotte and myself got together and discussed options just in case it rained. And Boy did it rain!!!
On my way to Central Dockside Apartments where both Charlotte and Zach were getting ready I was a little worried that there was going to be trouble getting to them due to the heavy rain and water on the roads. So after a road closure and a few small water crossings my little Barina made its way to a slightly flooded carpark next to the hotel where the two lovebirds were set to tie the knot.
Now knowing Zach and Charlotte a little from out time together during their engagement session I had a feeling that the two of them would be able to handle anything that came their way. And sure enough with the help of the incredible team from The Landing Dockside and some quick styling changes from Grand Moments the ceremony location was moved from outdoors to in and this wedding was more than ready for these two to tie the knot.
Personal notes to the Bride from close family and gifts for the Bridesmaids, Charlotte and Zach’s magical rain wedding was set to be a beautiful day filled with love and laughter, even though it was raining outside.
With the Ceremony moved indoors and the arrival umbrellas prepped for opening, we were all set for an incredible day to celebrate the romance of these two beautiful people!
Zach had chosen a classic fit suit by Calvin Klien, and Charlotte, an in incredible gown by Jenifer Gifford Designs.
Makeup and hair from The Beauty Case and florals from Oopsa Daisy there was no doubt that the two of them were going to look more than perfect for each other!
