– Heavenly Blooms – Florist –
Even though my time photographing Heavenly Blooms for an article featured in The Brides Tree was almost two years ago I can still remember how beautiful this little florist studio was. As Sally Townsend (editor of The Bride’s Tree) and I walked towards Heavenly Blooms we could see two men happily drinking their morning coffee. The tiny creative florist space was tucked away through a sliding fridge doorway inside Hum Drum Expresso.
The moment Sally and I walked into Heavenly Blooms we found Nat’s welcoming energy to be so calming. I remember becoming so curious wanting to know everything about everything displayed on the surrounding shelving.
Encrusted in small touches from local artisans paired with the incredible smell of blooms, this space was intoxicating. The inviting nook was perfectly tucked inside HumDrum Coffee luring you in for a floral and caffeine hit all in one. There was a real sense that the person behind this beautiful studio had more than a love and connection for flowers and nature.
If my memory serves me correct, we spoke candidly about the process that Nat goes through with her brides as she helps them find their perfect blooms for their special day, everything from what’s in season, colour pallet, their romance, and of course my favorite creative freedom to handcraft incredible bridal bouquets inspired by their unique love story and the organic wildness of nature for her clients. A dream come true for any creative.
It is so wonderful to watch florists at work! Nat has such a natural and organic style with her blooms.

Nat has since moved her studio from this little nook and can now be contacted here if you are a bride searching for your perfect florist!
